AHS Advisory will provide an overview of the market outlook for the Melbourne Tourism Region. As the Melbourne TR market looks to recover from the worst impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic, a number of challenges remain including a slow return to corporate travel demand, a struggling events industry and the continued lack of international travel. These challenges, together with a growing supply pipeline, will subdue and prolong the return to pre-COVID performance levels. 

Panel discussion: To discuss recovery measures for Melbourne and Greater Melbourne with a focus on the next 3-6 months. With forward occupancy for Melbourne hotels at <5%, the focus for this discussion is demand drivers for Melbourne in the short term.
