Related Articles $76 million Tourism Bushfire Recovery Package The Federal Government announced a $76 million tourism recovery package on the 20 January in response to requests for support from the tourism sector. This included Victorian Regional Review Consultation Process finalised The Regional Tourism Review in Victoria was announced in March 2019 by Minister for Tourism, Sport and Major Events Martin Pakula and Minister for Regional Development Jaclyn Symes to explore opportunities to encourage visitor growth in the competitive tourism market. ATO provides tax relief and assistance for businesses impacted by bushfires On the 20 January the ATO advised that they had extended a package of tax assistance for people impacted by the recent devastating bushfires as part of the whole-of-government response to the disaster. $25 million global marketing campaign launched As part of the Government’s $75 million bushfire recovery fund, $25 million was allocated to Tourism Australia to boost international campaign activities.
