The Certificate IV in Hospitality reflects the role of skilled operators who use a broad range of skills and supervisory knowledge. The qualification provides a pathway to work as a supervisor in the accommodation and tourism industry.

The qualification allows for multi skilling and for specialisation in the following sectors -

  • Bar supervisor or team leader
  • Concierge
  • Duty Manager
  • Food and Beverage Team Leader
  • Front Office Manager
  • Shift Manager
  • Housekeeping Supervisor

The qualification consists of the following –

  • 9 Core units.
  • 12 Elective units.

Course Duration – 1-2 years.

The delivery of training can be flexible with the following methods –

  • Classroom based.
  • On the job training and assessment.
  • Certain units online.
  • Distance education.
